Anti-Racism Committee Tunisia: A point against racial discrimination diagnose the situation of migrants and asylum seekers in Tunisia in general and in Gabes, Sfax and Medenine in particular and to work to support minority issues in Tunisia directly and indirectly through the adoption of advocacy that contributes to and directly affects the situation of minorities in general and the rights of migrants and asylum seekers in particular: legislative and legal advocacy, artistic and media advocacy, “audiovisual”.
Main activities:
- Documentation of cases of discrimination in the three governorates.
- Research and participatory diagnosis with migrants an asylum seekers and stakeholders on the migration situation in Tunisia.
- Artistic academies and production of artworks that defend the rights of minorities.
- Radio program on economic, social and cultural empowerment of migrants and asylum seekers in particular and on minority rights in general.
- Working sessions for public institutions and MPs on how to integrate and support the rights of minorities in general and asylum seekers in particular, and how to invest in their ability to support national growth instead of excluding them.
- Creation of an online platform for freedom of expression and highlighting discrimination against migrants and asylum seekers.
