CALL FOR ARTISTS – CURRENT BOOTCAMP
We are seeking dedicated Tunisian dancers, musicians, and singers to be part of our upcoming Art Bootcamp, taking place from October 9th to 14th, 2023 at No Name- artistic studio lab. This art bootcamp is a dynamic collaboration between the american dance education and interdisciplinary arts organization “Company E” and “Danseurs Citoyens Sud”, serving as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and artistic enrichment. Through this partnership, artists from different backgrounds and disciplines come together to share their unique perspectives, techniques, and creative energies. “Company E” is a modern dance company and arts organization located in the heart of Washington, DC, with a strong focus on fostering global partnerships with leading choreographers, dancers, composers, filmmakers, and contemporary artists from around the world. The Bootcamp’s performance (CURRENT) serves as the grand finale of an intensive 5-day program encompassing masterclasses in vocal techniques, drumming, contemporary dance, and skill enhancement. Over these days, participants will engage with Company E artists to acquire technical expertise, delve into choreography and musical work, actively contribute to the work process, and engage in discussions regarding capacity building and fostering artistic entrepreneurship. Amira is a rising artist who embarked on her creative journey after successfully completing her studies in the domain of painting. However, she didn't confine herself to the boundaries of traditional mediums. Instead, she eagerly ventured into the exciting realm of digital tools and software. Her most recent artistic endeavor centers on the manipulation of photography and film, utilizing cutting-edge tools that empower her to craft innovative visual experiences.
HAIFA OUERFELLI
Haifa Ouerfelli, who also goes by the name "Ash," is a talented interior designer driven by a profound interest in contemporary art and the interplay of light. Her artistic journey has led her to actively delve into the fascinating world of light art, participating in a diverse range of projects both locally and internationally. Presently, Haifa has honed her focus on a distinctive creative pursuit: hunting for and repurposing materials that are typically not considered suitable for artwork, transforming them into stunning pieces of art. Her chosen artistic themes predominantly revolve around critical environmental issues that our planet faces. Through her work, Haifa strives to engage her audience on a deep level, using art as a means of raising awareness and fostering a sense of involvement in addressing these pressing global challenges.
ZEINEB KAABI
Zeineb Kaabi is a remarkably gifted visual artist hailing from Tunisia. Her talents span a wide spectrum of artistic domains, including painting, installations, and design, showcasing her versatility and skill. What sets Zeineb apart on her artistic odyssey is her academic background in social and cultural anthropology, providing a unique and unorthodox lens through which she views and creates art. Zeineb's creativity knows no bounds, as she fearlessly incorporates experimental elements into her art, employing tools like overhead projectors, video art, and other innovative techniques to push the boundaries of her craft.
ARTISTIC BOOTCAMP SEPTEMBER 2023
"Danseurs Citoyens Sud" orchestrated a socially significant art bootcamp that unfolded from September 11 to 17, 2023, at NO Name Artistic Studio Lab. Central to this immersive experience was the overarching theme of "climate justice," with a particular focus on addressing the environmental challenges faced by marginalized areas. What made this initiative even more powerful was the collaboration with influential organizations such as "Hivos," the "Collective Creative" association, the "Stop Pollution" movement, and the "Observatory for Food Sovereignty and the Environment." This collaborative effort stemmed from a shared conviction in the potent capacity of art to be a force for change, shedding light on the plight of marginalized communities and addressing environmental injustices that are often overlooked.This opportunity served as a crucible for artistic exploration and expression, encompassing three distinct art disciplines, each led by a prominent figure in their respective fields. Under the expert guidance of Assem Bettouhami, a luminary in the realm of performing arts, participants delved deep into the world of stagecraft, leveraging the power of performance to champion the cause of climate justice. Meanwhile, the realm of photography, facilitated by the accomplished Ahmed Jlassi, provided a lens through which attendees captured the poignant stories and struggles
BADREDDINE DAIMI

Bader’s creative spirit shines through his aspirations in the realms of photography, graphic design, and video editing. His passion for robotics and artificial intelligence, coupled with his dedication to honing his creative skills, signifies a promising future where innovation and artistic expression will undoubtedly play a significant role.
HAMZA BEYA
Hamza is an exceptionally creative person, driven by a profound enthusiasm for agricultural and ecological endeavors. He also exhibits a keen interest in anthropological research and humanities. At present, he is immersed in the academic pursuit of socio-cultural anthropology, exploring the intricacies of human societies and their relationship with culture and the environment. Complementing his academic journey, Hamza actively engages in diverse civil society initiatives, particularly those dedicated to promoting human rights and supporting disadvantaged communities. Furthermore, Hamza nurtures a fascination for visual arts, adding another dimension to his multifaceted interests and talents.

Raja is a driven artist who has been refining her creative talents since childhood. At present, her unwavering focus is on achieving a PhD in the field of “Aesthetics of Art and its Practice”. On her artistic journey, Raja has been an enthusiastic participant in various creative endeavors, demonstrating her commitment to the art world. She consistently welcomes opportunities to explore fresh artistic domains, demonstrating her eagerness for continuous growth and expansion of her artistic horizons.
