Jihen Makkari

Mikari Jihen holds a master’s degree in professional education with a specialization in Image Art from the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts in Gabès, Tunisia. With a strong foundation in visual arts and pedagogy, she combines artistic creativity with educational engagement. At Danseurs Citoyens Sud (DCS), she plays a key role in the organization’s Studio Écologique Lab, where she contributes to environmentally conscious artistic production and educational workshops. Jihen is deeply committed to promoting sustainability through art, exploring the intersections between ecological awareness, community involvement, and creative expression . Her work reflects a vision of art as both a tool for education and a medium for social and environmental change.
