Hamadi Henchiri
A human rights lawyer with more than six years of experience working alongside NGOs and social movements, he is dedicated to defending marginalized communities, including undocumented migrants, victims of institutional racism, feminists facing defamation, and LGBTQI++ individuals and associations. He is a prominent advocate against the criminalization of homosexuality under Article 230 of the Tunisian penal code, with ten cases brought before the Court of Cassation. His legal practice also addresses issues of torture, labor rights, and environmental justice. Through strategic litigation and legal advocacy, he strives to build a more just and inclusive society, using law as a tool for systemic change and civic empowerment.
