Call for Applications: Photography & Video Coverage – Handmade Paper Workshop

As part of the "From & To People" program, the organisation Danseurs Citoyens Sud (DCS) is opening a call for entries to recruit a freelance Photographer / Videographer. The selected professional will capture the essence of our Natural Fiber & Handmade Paper Workshop, documenting how local ecological resources and paper pulp are transformed into artistic mediums by our young participants.

Intervention Calendar & Core Deliverables:

The contractor must ensure absolute presence and production delivery for the following 2 workshop days:

  • July 21, 2026 (Session 1): Full photo coverage focusing on raw fiber processing, pulp bath preparation, and sheet formation. Delivery includes 50 edited photos and 1 dedicated vertical social media reel (9:16).
  • July 24, 2026 (Session 2): Full photo coverage focusing on drying techniques, texture pressings, and final handmade artistic creations. Delivery includes 50 edited photos and 1 dedicated vertical social media reel (9:16).

Total Output Required: A minimum of 100 fully edited high-resolution photos (50 per day) and 2 short-form vertical reels (9:16 format, 1 for each shooting day) optimized for social media.

Required Profile

  • Proven experience in documentary, artisan craft workshops, or artistic event media coverage.
  • Equipped with professional gear capable of rendering crisp visuals in indoor studio environments containing fluids and organic pulp.
  • Ability to work autonomously, capturing raw, unposed craftsmanship gestures without disrupting the learning flow.
  • Mandatory: Legally registered service provider with a valid Fiscal Patent (Patente).

Submission Guidelines

Applications must be compiled into one single PDF document containing:

  1. Financial Offer: Global net breakdown pricing encompassing the 2 shooting days, equipment, post-production editing, and final digital asset delivery.
  2. Professional Portfolio: Direct links to relevant past photography and short vertical video works (Reels/Aftermovies).
  3. Administrative Document: A clear, valid copy of the fiscal patent (Patente).
