Call for Applications: Photography & Video Coverage – Needle Felting Workshop
As part of the "From & To People" program, the organisation Danseurs Citoyens Sud (DCS) is opening a call for entries to recruit a freelance Photographer / Videographer. The selected professional will capture the intricate, tactile textures and manual artistic steps of our Needle Felting Workshop, documenting how raw wool is transformed into unique contemporary creations by our young participants.
Intervention Date & Core Deliverables:
The contractor must ensure absolute presence and production delivery for the specified workshop day:
- July 16, 2026: Full-day media coverage focusing on material compacting techniques, needle-sculpting precision, texture details, and the finalized woolen artworks.
Total Output Required: A minimum of 50 fully edited high-resolution photos and 1 dynamic short-form vertical aftermovie/reel (9:16 format) optimized for social media platforms.
Required Profile
- Proven experience in documentary photography, artisan craft workshops, or artistic studio media coverage.
- Equipped with professional gear capable of rendering crisp close-up macro details (wool fibers, specialized needles) and capturing rich colors.
- Ability to work autonomously, capturing authentic, unposed craftsmanship gestures without disrupting the learning dynamic.
- Mandatory: Legally registered service provider with a valid Fiscal Patent (Patente).
Submission Guidelines
Applications must be compiled into one single PDF document containing:
- Financial Offer: Global net breakdown pricing encompassing the shooting day, production equipment, post-production editing, and final digital asset delivery.
- Professional Portfolio: Direct links to relevant past photography and short vertical video works (Reels/Aftermovies).
- Administrative Document: A clear, valid copy of the fiscal patent (Patente).
