Noon Exhibition
Is a visual art project organized by Danseurs Citoyens Sud as part of its “No Name Artistic Studio Lab” initiative, in collaboration with photographer Jilani Ben Cheikh. Launched on July 30th, 2024, at the NO NAME Cultural Center, the exhibition pays tribute to women in Tunisia who lost their lives due to gender-based violence. Developed during a six-week artistic residency, the showcase features a series of powerful photographic works that highlight stories of silence, loss, and resistance. Through this artistic lens, the exhibition raises awareness of the impact of domestic abuse and calls for greater gender equality. “Noon” stands as both a memorial and a platform for dialogue, urging viewers to reflect on the lives of marginalized women and the societal changes needed to protect them. The artworks invite emotional engagement, turning personal tragedy into collective memory, and inspiring a commitment to justice and social transformation.
