Call for Applications: Architectural Mission – Physical Concept Store
As part of the "From & To People" project, Danseurs Citoyens Sud (DCS) is entering the retail phase of our artisanal creations (Saaf, wool, paper, and molding). We are seeking a creative Architect or Space Designer to transform a garage space into a functional, aesthetic, and high-impact Physical Concept Store in Gabès.
The Challenge:
Transforming a raw "garage-type" space into a professional boutique that reflects the artistic soul of DCS. The design must prioritize the valorization of local materials while optimizing a small surface area.
Location: 115 Rue Med Ali, Gabès (Next to DCS headquarters).Mission Phases
Phase 1: Diagnosis & Concept – Space analysis, needs assessment, and conceptual layout proposal.
Phase 2: Design & Projections – Detailed 2D plans, moodboards (materials/colors), 3D visuals, and custom furniture/display designs.
Phase 3: Implementation Support – Guidance on material selection and technical follow-up during the renovation.
Design Principles
- Materiality: Aesthetic links to the crafts (fibers, paper, clay).
- Optimization: Smart circulation and lighting for a small footprint.
- Feasibility: Creative solutions adapted to a controlled budget.
- Identity: Integration of elements potentially crafted by the participants.
Provider Profile
- Architect or Interior Designer with a strong portfolio in retail or cultural spaces.
- Sensitivity to social and artistic projects.
- Capacity to deliver professional 2D/3D technical documents.
- Mandatory: Legal status with a valid Fiscal Patent (Patente).
